playlist

Our artistic director, Gioconda Bordon, monthly organizes a music selection you can hear at home.

The playlists are available at Spotify and Apple Music.

March

Inspired by the spectacles of the Trio Wanderer, which brings to the opening of the 2020 Season six Beethoven trios, Gioconda Bordon, our artistic director, put together a playlist focused on compositions for this camera formation.

April

In the April playlist, our artistic director, Gioconda Bordon, features works by Mozart, Schubert, Beethoveen, Dvorák and Mendelssohn. Among the artists is the Academy of Saint Martin in the Fields, which participates in our 2020 Season.

May

In the May playlist, our artistic director, Gioconda Bordon, brings orchestral, chamber and singing pieces with works by Franz Liszt, Prokofiev, Debussy, Schubert and Vivaldi.

June

The June playlist is themed: our guitar collegers, Gabriele Leite and Eduardo Gutterres, selected works that marked their careers. Gabriele brought the female protagonism, making a “rescue and questioning about our Brazilian guitarists.” Eduardo tried to show “the various faces of the Brazilian guitar, from a serenade by Dilermando Reis to a very modern composition by Rafael Marino Arcaro.”

July

This month’s playlist basically moves around works by Richard Wagner and Bach. In addition to bringing pieces by composers from the French romantic period such as Saint Säens and two works by contemporary Bach authors: Scarlatti and Handel. Romanticism and Baroque alternate and complement each other.

August

This month, Gioconda Bordon prepared a thematic playlist: inspired by the program with Italian songs that she presented on Rádio Eldorado FM in the 90’s, Gioconda made a selection with works by Lucio Dalla, Luciano Pavarotti, Gianni Morandi and other great names of the genre.
